Orinoco Freezing Weekend Show (Vrijdag 18-01)

Ja denk je vrijdagavond alléén Roche op zijn vaste avond aan te treffen, kom je toch even van een koude kermis thuis
Komende vrijdagavond is het weer tijd voor een combi avond. Van 20.00 tot 23.00 zal Dave jullie vermaken met muziekjes!
Na elven is het weer tijd voor de vaste vrijdagavond jock: Roche die vast wat hartverwarmende trackjes voor jullie tevoorschijn zal toveren!

Ik ook ga een keer iets met een thema doen! Dat zal zijn [goh hoe kan het ook anders]: 'de Eighties'

Hieronder dan ook een nummering van 1 tm 25 om een Eighties plaatje neer te zetten die jij nog graag een keertje wil horen. Je mag 1 nummer per dag neerzetten en een artiest/band mag maar 1x in de lijst voorkomen. Deze 25 platen zal ik dan draaien door de uitzending heen [of dat dan van 25 naar 1 zal zijn of andersom laat ik nog even in de midden ] Daartussen door zal ik nog wat nieuwe plaatjes draaien en ook nog wat andere verrassingen!

Kiwiana vroeg me een nummer neer te zetten hier... best lastig, want jaren '80 is nou niet mijn favoriete muziek. Jack White was nog te jong en een zoektocht naar een vroege Musesong liep op niets uit. Dan blijven over: Led Zeppelin en The Who. Van die laatste groep een jaren '80 hit.

No offence John, maar ik vind Eighties eigenlijk geen "thema". Het is vrijdag meer een kapstok waaraan de ene na de andere prachtige song wordt gehangen, afkomstig uit een schitterend muziekdecennium. En het mooie is dat het wordt samengesteld door mensen met een ontzettend goede muzieksmaak!
