"Placebo are going back on the road this summer and will be playing several major festivals around Europe.

We shall be revealing the various dates over the coming months, but the first announcement (and on sale) will be this Monday 23rd January, at 9am (CET)"

Maandagochtend zit deze jongen, na een weekend zonder internet dus hungry as a lion, met het toetsenbord in de aanslag om 9 uur paraat. Voor een eventuele Duitse verkoop ben ik op dat moment ingelogd bij livenation.de. (ik hoop niet dat meer mensen dat doen, behalve dan mensen van dit forum natuurlijk!)

De eerste "gig" is vrijgegeven. Rock im Pott, Gelsenkirchen. Schalkestadion. 25 augustus. Mede-hoofdact Red Hot Chili Peppers. Het is wel duur. Goede kaarten zijn bijna 100 Euro en hoewel het net over de grens is moet je, weet ik uit ervaring, via Eventim veel extra betalen omdat het 'buitenland' is. Ik wacht nog even af of ze ook naar het Taubertalfestival in Rothenburg komen, 8-10 augustus. Dat is geloof ik 78 Euro voor drie dagen incl. camping (hoewel we dan een rustig pensionnetje in de buurt proberen te zoeken)

Zoals ik al hoopte komt Placebo ook naar het Tauberfestival.

Yesterday we revealed that Placebo are to play alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers, at the new Rock Im Pott Festival in Germany on 25th August.

Today we are delighted to announce 4 more Festivals where Placebo will be headlining this summer.
